This pole is a medium wieght rod which means that it has enough stiffness and strength to catch trout up to 20 inches plus but still has good flexibility. This is good for all sizes up trout from little fingerlings up to 26 inch trophy trout.
The Shakespeare Wild Series Trout Combo is probably the most fun rod to catch any size fish one. It is super flexible and even the smallest fish puts a good bend in the pole and makes you feel like you are fighting a monster
